Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® is an international service organization that was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 15, 1908. Our current International President and CEO is Ms. Danette Anthony Reid. The theme for Ms. Reid’s presidency is “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood. ”
Epsilon Tau Omega Chapter was established in Greenville, South Carolina on April 15, 1952. I am honored to serve as Epsilon Tau Omega’s President for 2022 – 2023. Our theme is S.I.S.T.E.R.S. because we believe there is Strength in Sisterhood to Elevate, Represent, and Serve.
Epsilon Tau Omega has over 200 members dedicated serving with Excellence to the Greenville community. Our membership is comprised of civil rights activists, elected officials, doctors, lawyers, educators, administrators, nurses; we are leaders in our community.
Epsilon Tau Omega celebrated our platinum anniversary in 2022. We have given 71 years of Service to the Greenville Community and continue to provide “Service to All Mankind” into perpetuity. Our commitment to service is evident as we give our time and resources to those we serve in Greenville. We are proud of our rich legacy and thankful to our partners for helping us achieve our goals and objectives.
The Program Initiatives under Ms. Danette Anthony Reid’s administration for 2022 – 2026 are Strengthen Our Sisterhood, Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth; Enhance Our Environment; Advocate for Social Justice; Uplift Our Local Community.
